So it's been a really intense weekend for me; it was Pride in Vancouver, which was amazing to be apart for the first time. I also left my job on Friday and am in the process of interviewing for another, so please accept my humble apologies for going 4days without much fanfare!
So let's kick shit off with my favorite Canadian, Pamela Anderson, who was at the KFC that I can literally see from my apartment balcony yesterday! She was there with PETA who officially ended their 5 year boycott of KFC. All Canadan KFC locations has phased out suppliers that slit bird's throats while they are fully conscious and scald them to death in favor of suppliers who use painless gas. KFC Canada also now offers a veggie Chicken burger, which Pam, a vegetarian, chomped down as swarms of papparazzi and press snapped her visit.
All other KFC restaurants have still not changed their policies and PETA will continue their boycott; KFC locations in Canada are now all approved by PETA!
And no, I had no idea she was going to be there, or trust me, I would've been!
